Introduction

It is common sense that you have more of a chance of winning with a place bet, so why not place bet?

The biggest problem is that the odds on offer are greatly reduced. This is because the odds of you winning your bet are greatly improved.

Of course their are even more ways of turning these odds in your favour and that is what we will be going through in the rest of this guide.

Applying a few simple rules will show you not only how to find these horses they will also vastly improve your chances of winning.

The system that I am about to show you are not only battle tested but, battle hardened. It has been vastly improved over the years and now backing horses to place with over a 90% strike rate is no longer 'MYTH', it has become, 'LEGEND'

We first need to apply several filters that will discard races that are not worth betting on.

As always my advice is that you must start with a small betting bank. One that you can easily afford. If you cannot afford it you will be under pressure when placing bets and you will be more liable to making mistakes. Yo need to master this system slowly. Do not worry i will fully explain what you need to do and how to do it with military precision.

You are well advised to make your early mistakes with small amounts that you can afford and eventually use place larger bets from your ever increasing bank that you have accrued from other, 'Mug Punters' to take even more money from them!

Use their money to take even more money off them!

The beauty of this system is that you do not have to be at your computer at the time of the race. You can work all of this out the night before and have your bets placed, hours before the race starts!

Once you have mastered this system you could even make more money by selling your Red Hot Tips to your subscribers! A monthly membership with a retention rate that should surpass most others. If you only give out Red Hot Certainties, punters would be mad to leave. You would have them eagerly waiting for your next winning tip! Just advertise a simple email and text service on eBay or similar. If you can build a blog or a website even better. Price membership a little dearer on your site and then advertise it at a discounted rate. You will soon have punters queuing up, when word gets out about your second to none 'Elite' service!

Chapter One

The Myth

Their is a myth that has been circulating around punters for many years. It has been repeated so many times that nearly every one believes it and never questions it! Even I believed it and never questioned it, till now. Punters are led to believe that favourites win a little over 33% of races. Now with computers we can crunch vast amounts of data and prove that this is not quite true.

New statistics show that the actual percentage is less over many types of races, mainly handicap races.

After analysing this data I am led to believe that before applying any system, be it a backing or laying system we are best to use this data to further enhance our chances of winning.

I have listed several pieces of data that will improve your chances of winning whether you are backing or laying.

A newspaper with the days races will make this task a lot easier. Simply cross off each race card as you check them.

If we are backing a win or place bet we need to use the data below to vastly improve our chances of winning!

First I will cover the number of runners a race must have, if you want to really improve your chances of growing your bank.

Chapter Two

Runners

If we are to profit at the bookies we need to choose the races with the least runners. The less runners in the race the greater the chance of the favourite winning.

A race consisting of 2 to 5 runners gives the favourite around a 50% chance of winning!

6 to 7 runners reduces this percentage to around 41%

10 to 11 runners and the percentage of favourites drops even further. Now only 32% will win their race.

In other races where there are over 16 runners, only 1 in 4 25% of favourites will win.

The bookie allows us to place bet on 2, 3 and 4 horses in a race, depending on how many horses are running.

To place bet on a horse in a race with 5 to 7 runners, you are betting that it will come in the first 2 places for it to be considered as a winning bet.

Races with 8 to 15 runners allow you the first 3 places.

And races with 16 or more runners will give you a return on your place bet if it finishes in the first 4.

If you are place betting on Betfair make sure that you always read the information displayed on the place page as to how many horses will be placed. You do not want your horse coming third when their are only 2 places paying out.

My advice is always check as to how many places are classed as a win bet as it may differ. Better safe than sorry.

Our Rules Are

We are only interested in races of either 5 or 8 to 9 runners. No other races will do. We want to win!!!

None runners can be used to your favour as this could leave the race with fewer runners and still offer you your place bet! A weighting may be introduced lowering the odds but, this could drastically improve your chances of winning.

Chapter Three

Selecting Your Race

Next we cross off any races that do not meet our criteria below.

Any race that is classed as a, 'Chase', Hunter Chase, Novice Chase, and any other Chase that is not a 'Handicap Chase', I f the word 'Handicap' is used make sure to eliminate that race.

Select any, 'Hurdles' race other than those that are classed as either a 'Selling' or 'Handicap' race. These two types of racing should be eliminated.

And Contrary to popular belief, you can include any 'Maiden (Flat) races.

The only problem with maiden races is that they will not pass all of our stringent tests so these may well drop our strike rate a little below 90% so whether you want to include these races is up to you. My advice is that if you do include them, make sure to take note of your win/lose rate.

Any, 'Stakes (Flat)' race should also be included as long as it is not a group race or a 'Selling' stakes race.

REMEMBER!! NO HANDICAP RACES, of any type...

Make sure to apply the above criteria to all of your race cards before applying any system. This alone will increase your chances of a winning bet dramatically.

If you really want to win over 90% of your bets. You must first apply the above rules vigorously.

Chapter Four

The Ultimate Predictor

Barrier Draw

if the race is under 12 furlongs only pick a favourite with a Barrier/Gate draw

lower than 6. The lower the better.

Distance

Check that your horse runs well at the distance that it is running at today (I will show you how to do this later in the guide)

Going

It is very important that your horse must have proven itself on the 'Going'.

Your horse may well have had a fantastic runaway win on hard ground but, will

the horse perform as well on the soft? Many horses have a preference. You must check that it has raced on similar ground conditions previously (I will show you how to do this later in the guide).

Previous Race

Your chosen horse must have been placed or won its last race, which must have been less than 30 days ago.

You will find a more than handy tool named, 'Racing Post Predictor' It is updated every evening at around 18.30pm with all of the history that the Racing post has on the horses racing at UK courses inc Irish races, the next day and remains available for the next day as well. This software was designed to show you which horses are liable to win based on past history. But, it can easily be used to allow us to see which horses are likely to place as well. I use it mainly to check that a horse can run the distance and that it is happy on the going. It also allows you to check if the horse has ran on the course previously. There are more choices that you can also compare. This handy tool will save you hours of checking previous race data. Now it will only take you minutes! Do not be fooled by its ease of use. This tool is probably one of the best, if not the best tool available for easily reading and comparing past data. It is also FREE.

So make sure to click on the link above and look for the, 'Video Looking Racecourse'. You can select the race by clicking on the dropdown box at the top right of the predictor software. Once you have your chosen race, click on

the dropdown box in the lower right hand corner named, 'Adjust Parameters' and pull all of the sliders down. Rerun the race with one slider moved to the top each time. Taking note of which horse or horses do well. Then run it with three sliders, Going, Distance and Course selected. This is the most important. If you get several horses winning the race cross that race off your selection. Depending on how the horses finish is your deciding factor as to whether to place your bet. If your horse is placed and there are no other horses near it then you can also place your bet. If there is competition you are well advised not to place a bet on that horse.

The predictor is far from infallible and this is why you must adhere to the other parameters of this system. If you knit them together properly, you will end up with an unbelievable strike rate!

Believe me once you master this system, you will be laughing all of the way to the bank.

You will soon be having winning streaks of 7, 8, 9 and more...
