Welcome to Lay Pro 88.

First I’ll explain how Lay Pro 88 has arrived as a profitable system to lay (bet to lose) horses.

Lay part of the name is obvious as it is a system to Lay (bet horses to lose). The Pro part of the name is from the developer of the system, as Anthony is a Professional punter that lays horses to make his living.

And the 88 part of the name is from the strike rate of winning bets (losing horses) which as you may have guessed is 88%. So that means 12% of the horses layed actually win and are losses for us.

This system has not been developed in a week of research. It is the results of actually making these bets and banking the money.

Since the arrival of Betfair punting has never had so many options. Yet with laying losers the immediate reaction is that it is easy. Nothing could be further from the truth, it is said that only around 5% actual win. Much less make a living from it.

So when I had the opportunity from Anthony to make his method available I jumped at it. All the results you see and figures are actual bets, not researched results.

With all the money available on Betfair, by sharing Anthony’s money making plan will not affect his income.

You don’t have to be in the UK to use this system, infact you will see on the video that the bets are in Euros because Anthony lives in Europe.

You need to stick to the plan, don’t start adapting it. It works fine the way it is.

Now once you see the system, it may look over simple. Don’t let that worry you. This is as I said earlier is a working method.

What you require is:

1. A Betfair account. 2. Internet connection 3. Patience’s and time to follow the races live. 4. And to increase profit the Lay Pro 88 spreadsheet

which requires Excel to run.

And that is all required.

Here are the rules and then I will explain the reasons for them.

- The Lay Pro 88 Rules -

The system works with just a few rules:

1. Only races with 10 or more runners

(any kind of race, any class).

2. Start watching odds 90 seconds before the start

3. The system will Lay the 3rd favourite horse (1 MINUTE or less BEFORE THE START)

4. Place the Lay only if the clear 3rd favourite is

available at odds from (5.5 to 7.5) This horse must be at least 1.50 more than the 1st favourite.

Why races with 10 or more runners? The third Favourite (considering start odds past results) won 14% of the time but if we exclude races with 9 or less horses this number drop to 12%. We will have Win Lays 88% of the time.

Why 1 minute or less before the start? Near the start we will see the market movements, and at this point a lot of things change. Big punters and horse knowledge punters know better than most punters which horse has better chances of winning. At this point we will

be able to follow the changes. And we can see if the horse we first marked to Lay is dropping or rising in the odds. At the same time we can see better if the race will have or not one clear favourite. One clear second and, the most important, one clear 3rd favourite. The best decision is start watching the race movement 90 seconds before the start, identify the 3rd favourite and wait a little.

If the odd starts rising it’s time to Lay it. If the odd is decreasing wait more time to see if it becomes second or stays at 3rd and we will have less liability.

What is a clear 3rd favourite? To LayPro88 System, one clear 3rd favourite is one horse that near the start has the 3rd small odds, is inside the range (5.5 to 7.5) and at least 1.5 difference to the 1st favourite (example: 1st favourite @ 4.3 and 3rd favourite @ 5.8 or greater)

Why only odds from 5.5 to 7.5? Under 5.5 it will be very close to the 1st favourite, in other words this means that this horse has a very good chance to win the race and under 5.5 the 3rd favourite will win more then 12% (and our target it’s win Lays 88% of the time).

In Summary

We are looking for races with 10 or more runners at Betfair, not races with 10 or more runners in the paper or Racing Post. We need to find one clear 3rd favourite at least 1.50 longer than the 1st favourite. The clear 3rd favourite must be between 5.50 and 7.50

In long term we will hit 88% of the time and we will do profit. This system sometimes lost 1, 2 or maybe 3 races in the same day but you will have a lot of runs with 20 or more wins in row.

Staking Plan for the system

This system will make money on level staking.

Anthony’s opinion of the best way to go is start with one bank with at least 50 times the stake.

That means if you are using a laying stake of 10 then you need a 500 bank.

Then after you have doubled your first bank of 500, the best decision is to withdraw the winnings (500) and start again with the 500 balance.

Then when you grow the bank to another 500 making it 1000, you can start to increase your basic laying stake, to 15 units. In other words you double your bank but only increase your stake by 1⁄2, this will give more security to cover bad days.

If you are betting flat stakes increase your stakes anytime you double your bank.

The principle is to recover losses without too much risk. There are lots of staking plans that work fast to maximize profits but all of them will drain your bank in a bad run. This plan will add one unit after one loss. If you are betting 10 units, then the next bet (only after a losing bet) so instead of betting 10 it would be 20 units. After one win we will stay with the same stake if the last was like the first or will decrease 1/5 (Stake) if the last was bigger then the Start stake.

Check the last picture:

In the Gold column you can follow the system with our Staking Plan and in the Pink column you can follow the system with flat bet. We have a run with 20 bets (3 losses and 17 winners). As you can see it’s bellow 88% but we still doing a nice profit.

The first stake was 10 and we won. The second stake stills 10 and we won again. We lost the 3

rd

bet so, in the 4

th

bet we will stake 20 (10+10). We won so we will decrease the last stake (20) in 1/5 of the start stake (10). See the calculation: (1/5*10=0.2*10=2). Next stake will be 20-2=18 (Bet # 5). And we will continue decrease 2 until the next lost (Bet # 7). After one lost we will increase the stake by 1 unit (10 in this case). Next Stake will be 14 (the last one) plus 10 (the start stake). Calculations (14+10=24) and this is our Stake for Bet # 8. Then, as you can see we had a nice run with 9 wins in row. We will stop decreasing the last stake when reach our usual stake (10 in this example).

As you can see this plan will help you to Profit +86.70 instead the +7.50 with Flat Stake.

If you want to use this plan it's necessary that you have a bank with 100 times the 1st stake to be comfortable. Let’s say 1000 to Lay 10

Here is a Screen shot of how the Betfair screen will look.

As you can see 1st Favourite is Duty Free @ 2.96 , 2nd favourite Strobe 4.60 And our bet (LAY) is Alleviate @ 7.20. As you can see Alleviate is 1.50 or more from the 1st favourite Duty Free So we are on Alleviate to lose.
